Sabor a Cabo exhibits its best in culinary arts on an interesting festival that seeks to reveal the destination’s flavors and indulge its attendees into an amusing party atmosphere followed by an amazing show to conclude the event.

Sabor a Cabo is an event that for the last 11 years has dedicated to invite the destination’s main restaurants in a festival that has become one of Los Cabos’ favorite and most awaited. Such initiative was born from restaurant entrepreneurs through the National Chamber of Restaurants and Seasoned Foods, Los Cabos Chapter.

Every year, participating restaurants exhibit their best cuisine, catering to more than 3 thousand attendees, indulging them with their iconic recipes. Sabor a Cabo has welcomed world decorated Michelin star chefs such as: Dieter Koschina, Enrique Olvera, and Richard Sandoval, among others.

Apart from revealing the riches and vast culinary offer as well as positioning Los Cabos as a first rate culinary destination, one of the event’s main objectives is to support local charities.

The festival is made up of three main events to start warming up and boosting your appetite. At Cabo San Lucas Marina, from November 18 to 20, attendees can come and savor a large variety of beers, tequilas and mescals in Cabo Beer Fest, an appetizer before the entrée. On December 4, at Los Tamarindos Organic Farm, Sabor a Cabo Rural takes place, where tourists and the community will be delighted to the best in regional cuisine. This is an ideal event for the whole family, which at the same time supports and bolsters the communities’ economy that still preserve the land’s traditions. All dishes are prepared with 100% local products from Baja California.

And as the main course, on December 10, participating restaurants will exhibit the best of their cuisines alongside ambassadors such as Edith Jimenez, Richard Sandoval, Paul Stanley and the legendary Gene Simmons, who will join you to savor the best in the region’s cuisine. To wrap up this year’s delicious event, there will be a musical performance by one of Mexico’s most important rock bands. Mana will conclude Sabor a Cabo on December 10.  

The festival’s recognition has made the organizers improve Sabor a Cabo with every passing year, thus adding this musical performance to delight its attendees. In addition, when you buy your admission you are helping various associations that work for the port’s benefit, such as the Fire Department.
