Whether your perfect holidays may include water activities loaded with adrenaline such as surf, SCUBA diving, snorkeling or kayak; or maybe something more quiet like watching a sunset, sunbathing, playing in the sand or swimming in the sea, you’ll find that Los Cabos is the beach to go for. Some beaches save the best adventures to visitors willing to plunge in and explore under the waves.
Chileno Beach is a place to add to your activity checklist. It is definitely an underwater paradise for fearless divers and snorkeling enthusiasts.
Its crystal waters attract different species of colorful fish, from the smallest to the shiniest; along with marine plants hidden under the rocks, red crabs and some sea urchins. It is advisable wearing the right shoes when plunging in.
Chileno Beach’s access and amenities include parking lot, lifeguard, shade palapas, toilets, showers, ramps and handicap areas.
The Blue Flag certification was given to Chileno Beach in 2015 by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), an organization that qualifies beaches and marinas worldwide through a strict process of high standard criteria such as water quality, environmental management, environmental education, safety and services.
There are approximately 20 Mexican beaches with a Blue Flag certification, and three of them are in Los Cabos.
So, whatever your favorite beach activities are, follow our guidelines to find the right one on your next visit.
