1.- Striped Marlin

Cabo San Lucas is the unquestioned marlin world ́s capital. These super-charged fishes weigh from 50 to 300 pounds. Catching an IGFA-legal striped marlin on a fly is considered one of the world’s greatest victories among fishers.

2.- Dorado Fishing

They are colorfully, fight hard and jump when hooked and its taste is simply exquisite. Here are plenty of them and because they are a fast-growing, short-lived fish they are hungry more often than not. They die of old age around 5-6 years and attain a maximum weight of around 90 lbs.


Their flesh is soft and oily, similar to sardines. The body is slightly slender and long, making them fast swimmers; they can swim as fast as 50 knots.

3.- Sierra Spanish Mackerel

Also known as Pacific Sierra in Los Cabos area, they are a highly valued fish throughout their range. Sierra are a great day fishing trip with ultra-light tackle and the right captain. They are a school fish that reveals their presence with splashes on the surface created by the bait trying to escape and the predator chasing them.

It is considered by many as the main ingredient of ceviche and a great sportfish experience.

4.- Yellowfin Tuna

They are like a torpedo-shaped with dark metallic blue backs, yellow sides, and a silver belly. Yellowfin can live up to six or seven years. They are highly migratory and are found throughout the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans.

Pound by pound, the tunas pull with more strength and endurance than any other fish in the world.
