Los Cabos boasts a unique and privileged mountain-desert-ocean environment where golf’s top designers as Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Tom Fazio and Tiger Woods, have created some of the most alluring and challenging courses on earth, that´s why is the dominant golf destination in Latin America and the undisputed golf capital of Mexico.
This top destination hosted the 2nd Annual Mexico Golf Tourism Convention- IAGTO, from October 29th to November 4th, and featured supplier delegates from 15 countries. A total of 918 meetings took place at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf Resort and Spa and everyone praised the rewarding business sessions.
38 buyer delegates had the privilege of experiencing the region’s finest golf courses, hotels (Hilton, Grand Solmar, One and Only, Casa Dorada, Hacienda) and restaurants across the 3-day fam tour. Cabo del Sol, Cabo Real, Palmilla and Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club welcomed MGTC delegates on their fairways, or beaches in some cases.

IAGTO, which has successfully staged destination conventions in Spain, Ireland, Portugal, Turkey and Tunisia, currently has 636 specialist outbound golf tour operators in 61 countries. Of these, 134 wholesalers in 31 countries feature, promote and sell golf vacations to Mexico. Many of these tour operators are located in the U.S. and Canada, each an important market for Los Cabos.
